Hey, it's me again,
Tiara Mendiola
an aspiring Front End Developer, here to briefly introduce myself
I was born and raised on the island of
Guam,
where things are very simple! My culture is built on hospitality, family, and hard work. Not too
long ago, I moved to the United States leaving behind everything I knew and have entered a
world full of experiences waiting to happen!
I studied Computer Science at this
university
and also got my hands dirty in
ceramics.
For the passed 3 years, my career was very focused in
Information Technology, where I practiced professional customer service, quality & technical
user support, troubleshooting, repairing
workstations, & being part of a small team that I eventually had to manage!
Since moving, this was my opportunity to steer towards a career focused in Computer Science
(IT vs CS)!
I am currently enrolled with SheCodes, which is focused on Front End Development and web
technologies. So far, I've earned some certificates and completed a few projects. My journey as a developer has just
began, so keep an eye out for my work! Also, any tips, advice, and criticism is highly valued so
I may improve!
